We wouldn’t call ourselves business experts unless we took our own advice. Through our directors’ strategic planning, the business has grown tenfold in 30 years, both organically and by acquisition.

BUILDING ON THE PAST AND LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

In Spring 2020, we will be renovating and refurbishing our Stockport headquarters to create a ground-floor reception and flexible meeting space, which will provide modern facilities and accommodation for our clients and administration team.

We promote a culture of inclusivity and progression, and acknowledge and reward our teams for their hard work and achievements. Our directors lead by example – the perfect example being Neil Jones, who celebrated 20 years at Bennett Verby in 2019 after starting as an apprentice at age 16, working his way up through management and becoming a director in 2013.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Our investment in staff training and development is second to none, and we’re proud of our skilled accountants and award-winning training programme. In 2019, we received Platinum Accreditation from the ACCA in recognition of the support we give our trainees. We also take on one or two apprentices per year and we are a Centrica Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer.
